The event paid tribute to outstanding achievements across various categories, recognizing the hard work and commitment of individuals who have set a high standard in training, research, innovation, inclusivity and wellness. Awards were presented with varying prize money, reflecting the significance of each accomplishment. Among the highlights were accolades for lecturers who achieved the highest pass rates in their classes, showcasing their dedication to student success. Additionally, supervisors were celebrated for their pioneering innovations that have set benchmarks in the institution. In an ongoing commitment to foster research excellence, the Polytechnic recognized scholars who have researched, presented, and published insightful papers, contributing to the body of knowledge. Administrative staff members also received special recognition, reflecting the collaborative spirit that drives the institution forward. In a heart-warming gesture to promote wellness and community spirit, all staff members who brought home medals in various sporting disciplines were honoured, highlighting the Polytechnic’s emphasis on holistic development. The esteemed Guest of Honour, Mrs. Masaka, District Coordinator of the Public Service Commission for Kwekwe District, emphasized the importance of collective success. "A win for Kwekwe Polytechnic is a win for everyone," she declared, inspiring all present to strive for excellence. Principal Mr. Musara took the opportunity to commend his staff for their tireless dedication and exceptional efforts throughout the 2025 academic year. He urged the team to soar even higher in 2026, a pivotal year as the institution embarks on the implementation of the National Development Strategy 2.
